AGILITY
Agility has been very popular over the last 15 years. TV coverage has brought pictures of dogs running over walks and through tunnels, and flying between weave poles into millions of households.
Most dogs love agility, but it is not for every dog. Basic classes are suited for most dogs, but please ask your vet for the go ahead before you start agility. Obedience training is a must before you and your dog start classes.
Most training school will test your dog's obedience before you are allowed to attend classes.
Although Border Collies are a popular breed choice for agility, not every handler needs a border collie. Not every Border Collie is a driven agility dog, although most Border Collies love agility. Border Collies certainly need mental, as well as physical training, and this sport is a great fit.
