Lexi is my pup out of the cross between Mandy and CH Hot Shot Calm Before The Storm. This girl, although a "breed dog" by pedigree, is a herding dog by her choice. Have you read this somewhere else?
Lexi has a very strong eye, which we are working in training. She oozes herding talent, our early training is building her control of her instinct.
UKC CONF was finished in one weekend at 6 months old, with group placements. She won the 6-9 month bitch futurity class and placed 4th in the sweeps class at the BCSA Nationals 2009. Lexi was the Best Combined in the BCSA Futurity 2010. She finished her AKC championship...all wins by the BBE classes.
Lexi was working hard in 2013, she earned a AHBA herding title and her AKC CDX, plus had a litter of beautiful pups.
This girl loves barn hunt...she was a terrier in a former life!!!
New AKC Champion! 11 weeks after her last litter...she showed her awesome expression to win over the judge for that last needed major....I am so pleased with Lexi...she will do anything I ask whole heartedly.....without question!
Lexi lived well over 13 and still ruled the house at Out Run. We knew that she may not be here many more years, but were enjoying her protest on our lack of speed of providing her meals, outings, and "training". Yes, she still wanted her obedience training out in the yard when the younger dogs had their turn...so she did a few things and got her cookies. My grandson told her "yes!", she wagged her tail...it was a good day!
She has now since passed and is missed dearly.

Lexi earned her AKC conformation championship! Although out of coat from her recent litter to Levi....this girl proudly finished with a three point major.
